Protect whistleblower in Sabah corruption scandal, LFL urges MACC
Lawyers for Liberty (LFL) has appealed the MACC to protect a whistleblower who exposed the Sabah mining license corruption scandal and implicated state legislators, including Chief Minister Hajiji Noor.
LFL co-founder Latheefa Koya said protection should be provided as the whistleblower – identified by his first name Albert – had provided clear evidence of alleged corruption, which must be promptly investigated.
