Act fast, NGO urges PM to secure commutation for Pannir

An NGO has cautioned against celebrating Pannir Selvam Pranthaman’s reprieve from his execution too quickly due to Singapore’s strong stance on drug-related charges.

Malaysians Against Death Penalty and Torture group representative Charles Hector said Singapore is known to immediately proceed with executions once a court has dismissed any pending legal matters.
