Expert moots centralised system as govt links app glut to last-mile woes

Putrajaya must spearhead initiatives for a centralised Demand-Responsive Transit (DRT) system amid tribulations faced by public transport operator Prasarana Malaysia Bhd, said a transport consultant.

In a parliamentary written reply dated March 5, the Transport Ministry said the variety of booking applications from operators was one of the main challenges faced by Prasarana in implementing DRT services.
