Mat Sabu admits Amanah yet to gain meaningful Malay support

Nearly a decade since Amanah was formed as a PAS-splinter party, the smallest Pakatan Harapan component today admitted it has yet to gain a good level of support from Malay-Muslim voters.
However, its president, Mohamad Sabu, stated that the election of Amanah’s first representative in Kelantan – Kota Lama assemblyperson Dr Hafidzah Mustakim – is expected to grow the party’s influence.
